There are 31 new cases over the last three days, including:

Outbreaks

No new healthcare outbreaks. 4 currently active outbreaks – 3 in long-term care and 1 in acute care. 11 additional cases in facilities. 2 are residents. 393 residents. 246 staff.

Six people have passed away. 4 in VCH (all in long-term care) 2 in Fraser Health (1 passed away at Langley Lodge early June but death is now attributed to COVID-19).

Visitation to long-term care

Visitations to long-term care may come early next week. LTCs are required to submit plans to healthcare authorities for approval.

PPEs of Healthcare Workers

Since last Monday, the Province of BC has procured:
5,933,000 N-95 equivalent respirators
22,300,000 surgical or procedural masks
2,301,000 pieces of eye protective
50,000,000 pairs of gloves
2,825,000 gowns

As of last Monday, the Province of BC has received:
15,342 N-95 equivalent respirators
516,250 surgical or procedural masks
3,665,250 pairs of gloves
114,160 gowns
