Provincial Health Orders

Dr. Bonnie Henry said that she has updated the provincial health orders on vendor markets (i.e. farmers markets). She said that vendor markets can now sell merchandise (on top of food – fruits and vegetables).

Illicit Drug Overdose

117 died in April died of illicit drug overdose. Dr. Bonnie Henry is worried about these numbers. These are our young men and women in our society — they are dying alone. Part of the problem is that there is stigma attached to illicit drug overdose. We need to be mindful of other health emergencies happening around the province.
